violent monster that lurks in the shadows. It hangs in dark corners, feeling nothing but the urge to tear its prey apart. When it approaches, electrical lights begin to flicker and ultimately shut down, looming the area in darkness.

The monster is black and chitinous with a glossy sheen. Its body is shaped mostly like a man except for longer, elongated arms, bat-like wings and a skeletal tail. It has no eyes, using its exceptional hearing to navigate and find its prey instead, and has several sets of vicious teeth that glow in the dark.

Its one weakness is fire. It is drawn to the warmth, distracted by it, and will ultimately be lured into the flame.
